Digital Devilry Site - 2011

Project Description: Site redesign of DigitalDevilry.Com


Project Goals:

Take new Digital Devirly business model and map key design and functional requirements to new site features.  Include client tools to manage the development process to include Paperless Project Management, Paperless Billing, Help Desk Support and Trouble Ticket Management Tools, and create online Newsletter Management system to enhance communications with customers.

To offer tiny URL services to all customers for free using DDVLRY.COM to assist with creating special links for services like Twitter or Facebook.  The service displays a Digital Devilry ad for every redirect that improves marketing opportunities while offering a valuable, free service.


Visual User Interface Improvements (Web Design):

Complete change of all visual elements, grapics, marketing banners, etc.  Selected a "silver" theme to make all products and graphics "pop" while retaining the look and feel of all Digital Devilry marketing materials- business cards, flyers, ads, power point presentation template, etc.


Functional Improvements (Web Development):

Site converted from HTML based design to a Content Management System based on Code Igniter PHP and using the Oxymall eCommerce Module to create an online store.  This replaces static CartLoom payment carts that were not user friendly.

Paperless Billing and Project Management systems guides clients through the development process.  Users can preview files, download deliverables, print PDF invoices and reciepts and more, all in a secure environment.  Each project gets a special login and document repository.  Comments and messages are captured and archived to keep track of changes, status, and comments.

Automated Help Desk created to assist all customers with techincal issues with any of our products.  Help Desk includes custom departments, automated messaging, and user management.

DDVLRY.COM successfully launched and tested.  Tiny URL service is now available to all customers.

  • Partnership with Envato changes (exclusive theme and template author)
  • Partnership with RealMacSoftware established (featured theme author)
  • Partnership with local community via the Leander Business Circle and Chamber of Commerce

Graphics Design:

All graphics updated to reflect an edgier, bold approach to design and marketing.
