*Disclaimer- No, I don't own this site.  It is owned by my Dad - the Best Criminal Attorney in Houston- whom I share my name with.  But of course, he got an awesome looking site!*

Project Goals:

Create a small, site to facilitate the initiation process of the lawyer/client relationship.  This business model still revolved around face to face meetings, phone consultations, and very localized services for the various courthouses and jails.  The goal is to have the client call to make an appointment, with cash in hand and a crisis to solve.  It is that simple.

Visual User Interface Improvements (Web Design):

Selected a dark theme (but not too dark) so that the logo, phone number, text, and visual cues pop out.  Simple navigation selected.  Opted for clean, minimized layout to emphasize the goal of the site- the phone consultation.

New logo design for business that reflects a classy, modern look while emphasizing service to the Houston, TX metro area.  Texas is know as the Lone Star State, so reds and golds were selected for logo elements like stars, the Houston skyline, and scales of justice.

Functional Improvements (Web Development):

Simple custom PHP contact page selected in lieu of hidden or pop up forms.  The communication paths had to be clearly layed out- either call us or email us.  The expectation is that the clients are not tech savvy or used to elaborate site

Marketing:  

Basic SEO prep will be included in the code once the site owner proposes the direction of the site marketing and local advertisements.

Content:

All site content updated.

Graphics Design:

All graphics updated to reflect the "call now" theme while encouraging the customer with overlayed messages and prompts.  All graphic banners displayed in a jQuery based slider.

Planned Future Enhancements:

Additional pages to be added as needed and as online presence grows.
